The brief

Maclaren Warner was a well-established legal firm with a brand that no longer reflected the direction of the business after acquisition. The challenge was to modernise the identity without losing the trust, heritage and local recognition built up over many years.

The firm needed a new visual system and website that could feel current, professional and easy to navigate, while still feeling familiar to existing clients. The site also had to support a broad range of legal services, from residential conveyancing and family law to wills, probate, landlord and tenant work, litigation and commercial property.

The identity refresh kept Maclaren Warner recognisable while sharpening the marque, typography, colour palette and supporting patterns. The result gives the firm a more confident system without making the rebrand feel disconnected from its heritage.

A clearer service structure

 

We designed the website around the way clients search for legal support, giving core services a prominent route from the top-level services page and making the breadth of the practice easy to scan.

Custom WordPress theme delivery

 

The bespoke WordPress build gives individual service areas room for tailored copy, contact prompts and guidance, so the site can explain sensitive legal topics clearly while keeping the experience consistent across the firm.

The outcome

The finished work gives Maclaren Warner a more modern public presence while protecting the heritage that mattered to the firm and its existing client base. The new identity, design system and WordPress website create a calmer, clearer route into the practice, helping users understand the services on offer and contact the right office with confidence.

The build also includes custom integrations with external review and client portal services, helping the website surface trust signals and support enquiry journeys without adding manual admin for the firm.
