Meet Jasmine, our marketing apprentice, and learn about her first projects, creative process and apprenticeship journey at Weird Wolf Agency.
January 13, 2025
Jasmine joined Weird Wolf Agency as a marketing apprentice, bringing an interest in creativity, content and storytelling into the team. Through her Level 3 Marketing Apprenticeship with EMA Training, she has been building practical experience while getting involved in live agency projects.
We asked Jasmine about her first few months at Weird Wolf, what she has learned so far and what she is looking forward to next.
How Jasmine found marketing
Jasmine has always been drawn to creativity, content creation and storytelling, which made marketing feel like a natural direction. She was looking for a role that matched that interest and gave her room to learn in a practical environment.
Weird Wolf gave her the chance to work with a team that values ideas, design and clear communication, while supporting her apprenticeship alongside real client and internal projects.
The projects she has enjoyed so far
One of Jasmine’s favourite projects so far has been the Design your own Christmas jumper campaign. It gave her a chance to help shape creative ideas, work through practical campaign challenges and see the finished experience come together.
She also got hands-on with Zapier integrations, which added a more technical side to the campaign and gave her a useful look at how marketing ideas connect with the tools behind them.
What surprised her about marketing
One of the biggest lessons has been the importance of design and attention to detail. Strong marketing is not only about having ideas. It also needs consistency, clarity and polish so the message lands properly.
Working closely with the team has helped Jasmine see how small details affect how a campaign feels, how a message is understood and how a brand is remembered.
The Weird Wolf culture
Jasmine describes the team as creative, supportive and fun. Ideas are shared openly, and there is space to learn by trying things, asking questions and getting feedback from people across the agency.
That support matters when you are early in your career. It gives apprentices the confidence to build skills, make useful contributions and understand how different parts of agency work fit together.
How she approaches new ideas
When Jasmine is brainstorming marketing ideas, she starts by getting everything down without judging it too early. From there, she can sort through the ideas, connect the strongest parts and shape them into something more useful.
That process is a good reminder that creative work often starts messy. The important part is knowing how to refine the raw ideas into something clear, relevant and on brand.
Her advice for getting into marketing
Jasmine’s advice is to get involved and be willing to experiment. Marketing often means testing ideas, learning from what works and adjusting when something does not land as expected.
She also recommends exploring different areas of the discipline, from social media and content creation to analytics and campaign planning, then paying attention to where your strengths and interests naturally sit.
What comes next
Jasmine is looking forward to taking on more projects, growing her skills and continuing to make a meaningful contribution to the agency. She is especially interested in building confidence across campaign work and taking more ownership as her apprenticeship develops.
We are pleased to have Jasmine as part of the team and look forward to seeing how her skills develop through the rest of her apprenticeship.
